2027-2029 Pastoral Residency Program

Applications are now being accepted for a Pastoral Residency Program at The Village Church in Wellesley and Weston, Massachusetts – a two-year, full-time, ordainable call in the United Church of Christ designed for recent graduates preparing for pastoral ministry. The position includes a $60,000 yearly stipend.

Centennial United Methodist Church Foundation Scholarship

The Centennial United Methodist Church Foundation is awarding scholarships of up to $10,000 for students enrolled in formal training for Christian ministry or for a church-related vocation. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a seminary/divinity school and intend to serve in the Minnesota Conference of the United Methodist Church upon completion of their program. Preference will be given to applicants who are currently part of a church in the Minnesota Annual Conference.

(Fall 2026) Now Hiring: Coordinator, Certificate in Community Organizing for Climate Justice

Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary’s Center for Climate Justice and Faith is hiring a Coordinator for its Certificate in Community Organizing for Climate Justice. Working with the Director and the Associate Director of the Center for Climate Justice and Faith, the Coordinator will coordinate the planning, promotion, and teaching of the Community Organizing for Climate Justice Certificate program. Primary areas for initiative and focus are recruitment and instruction for an online, cohort-based community organizing training program that equips learners for effective leadership toward climate justice in any of its many forms. This curriculum is a 9-month program involving approximately two hours of weekly engagement by learners.

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in community organizing and training community organizers, significant knowledge of climate justice movements, experience building online community, and experience working with faith communities. The ideal candidate would be self-directed, people-oriented, and passionate about climate justice. The Coordinator may live anyplace within the U.S. The position will be 15 – 20 hours per week.

FASPE Intensive: 2027 Summer Fellowship Program in Ethics & Ethical Leadership

Where: Germany and Poland

Application Deadline: January 3rd, 2027

Fellows spend two intensive weeks in Germany and Poland, visiting sites of historical significance and examining the role of German clergy & religious leaders in enabling and supporting Nazi policies.

Fellows then draw on historical examples to reflect on contemporary professional responsibility and the ethical issues currently facing religious leaders today.
